WHELPING SERVICES

We provide optimum nutrition, supervision and care for expecting moms. Dogs are in the house among our family and kept comfortable. We have 24 hour access to veterinarians and also 30+ years whelping experience. 

We are available around the clock to assist during the birthing process. Puppies are kept warm and dry. Birth weights are recorded and we keep careful records of gains/losses. With 30 years of experience, you can rest assured your dog is in excellent hands. 

We use an Early Neurological Stimulation that has been used by the military with great success. Puppies are handled daily. We have experience and capability for tube feeding, wound care, supplementing, incubators, fluids, O2 supplementation, etc. Whelping areas are always kept clean, dry and warm to assure thriving pups. Moms are given excellent food, supplements as needed and care. 

Puppies are introduced to many different scenarios including potty training. We begin with conditioning puppies at just 3 weeks of age to make potty training a breeze. By the time they are 5 weeks old, they are going outside potty. We also interact daily with puppies learning new skills such as sitting, coming when called and play. Puppies are introduced to a variety of play areas, flooring, exploration and socializing scenarios.
